If you’re looking for a late-August event in Jeju where you can learn about space, experience future technology, and enjoy the island’s night sky, this is one to put on your calendar.
It’s the 2026 Jeju Global Future Aerospace Confesta.
This Jeju event brings together the latest in space, UAM, drones, and even the newest trends in Jeju’s AI industry, all in one place.
From conferences with Korean and international experts to a special aerospace talk by Orbit, an AI special session, and a career talk for students interested in aerospace,
plus exhibition and hands-on experience programs the whole family can enjoy, the event is packed with things to see and do over two full days.
There will also be a dedicated Jeju AI exhibition booth inside the exhibition and experience zone, which makes it even more exciting.
One of the biggest highlights is on Friday, August 28 at 7:00 PM, when a pre-show performance by Park Myung-soo with DJ Charles leads into the Jeju drone show, featuring 1,000 drones lighting up the night sky.
※ Please note: the Jeju drone show and Jeju fireworks may be canceled in the event of bad weather.

The biggest climax of the event is easily the Jeju drone show on the second evening.
This nighttime program of the 2026 Jeju Global Future Aerospace Confesta features a large-scale performance with 1,000 drones painting the Jeju night sky, enhanced by music and fireworks.
Starting with pre-show performances by local artists and Park Myung-soo with DJ Charles, the Jeju drone show fills the sky with a dazzling mix of music, light, and Jeju fireworks.
The drone light show is free to watch and does not require separate advance registration, which makes it especially easy to enjoy.
※ Please note that the Jeju drone show and Jeju fireworks may be changed or canceled in the event of bad weather.
How to Join
This Jeju event is free to attend, and you can sign up in advance through online registration.
Online Pre-Registration https://www.jejuuamdroneconfesta.com/

you can enter after confirming your name at the registration desk. |
|
If you do not pre-register |
you can register at the on-site registration desk and then enter. |
|
Drone Light Show |
You can watch without separate advance registration. |
So even if you miss pre-registration, there’s no need to worry.
On the day of the event, you can still join the conference, special programs, exhibitions, and hands-on experiences after a simple registration process at the on-site desk.
That said, some programs may reach capacity or close early depending on venue limits, so if you’re especially interested in popular sessions like the special lecture or the AI special session, pre-registration is the safer option.

Final Thoughts
From conferences and special programs to the Jeju AI exhibition booth, family-friendly exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and even the 1,000-drone Jeju drone show, this is a rare two-day event where you can see both the present and future of aerospace in one place.
I’d recommend this Jeju event not only to anyone interested in the space, UAM, drone, and AI industries, but also to families and visitors looking for a unique experience with kids in Jeju.
Between the futuristic atmosphere at Jeju Shinhwa World and the spectacular Jeju fireworks,
this event feels like a great way to spend the last weekend of summer while also spotlighting the growth of Jeju’s AI industry.
